Los Angeles Clippers guard Patrick Beverley was ejected late in a Game 2 loss to the Denver Nuggets on Saturday. The unfiltered scrapper didn't like the foul called on him in the previous play. His continuous chirping at the official warranted him back-to-back technical fouls that kicked him out of the contest.

Watch the development below:

Beverley struggled to stay on the floor for the Clippers; he battled foul trouble all night long. He ended his night playing just 15 minutes with five fouls and two points.

The Nuggets dominated from the get-go, racing out to a 44-25 lead at the end of the first quarter. L.A. tried to make it a game throughout the night, but never really got close to threaten Denver.

The Nuggets certainly bounced back in a big way after losing by 23 points in the series opener. All-Star big man Nikola Jokic had a huge outing with 26 points and 18 rebounds, while Jamal Murray led the Nuggets in scoring with 27 points on 10-of-21 shooting.

As for the Clippers, superstar Kawhi Leonard had a quiet evening, though he did almost notch a triple double. He struggled with his shot, going just 4-of-16 from the field en route to 13 points, 10 rebounds, and eight assists. Meanwhile, Paul George led L.A. with 22 points, though he didn't particularly have good shooting night, going just 7-of-19 from the floor.

Beverley continues to play on a minutes restriction after missing the entire first round with a calf injury. It's still unknown how much the Clippers are restricting his playing time. The blowout in Game 1 could have been a factor as to why he played just 12 minutes. His foul trouble may have contributed to his 15-minute night in Game 2.
