The Indianapolis Colts are finally on the winning side of things. The struggling franchise was able to get the best of the Cleveland Browns in Week 3, and it appears there's more good news on the way regarding star quarterback Andrew Luck.

After missing the first three games of the 2017 campaign, Luck is expected to be on the practice field for the Colts heading into Week 4, according to ESPN's Chris Mortensen.

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck is expected to begin practicing as early as this week, a major step toward his eventual return to the playing field, according to sources familiar with Luck's rehabilitation from shoulder surgery in mid-January.

Ironically enough, the Colts did get their best performance out of Jacoby Brissett on Sunday in Cleveland. The recently acquired quarterback put on a show in the team's first win of the season throwing for 259 yards, one touchdown, and no interceptions. Brissett also rushed for two touchdowns as the team went on to win, 31-28.

In the meantime, Brissett appears to be a formidable option at quarterback for Indianapolis. He'll likely continue to be the starter in Week 4 as the Colts continue their road trip against the Seattle Seahawks.

The real question moving forward will be how much time the Colts brass wants Luck on the practice field until they consider putting him back under center. Also, there's no guarantee he'll be the same dominant gunslinger of old meaning this process could take a considerable amount of time even if he's practicing.
