Dallas Cowboys defensive tackle Antwaun Woods was arrested on Tuesday during a traffic stop in Frisco, Texas, and was charged with possession of marijuana over two ounces but fewer than four ounces, tampering with evidence. He was also cited for possession of paraphernalia according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Woods was an undrafted free agent out of the 2016 draft and bounced around before joining the Cowboys in 2018. Woods missed last week's game and was ruled out Wednesday for Thursday night's game against the Chicago Bears.

Although he isn't much of a household name he has been a strong player for the Cowboys this year, especially against the run. Last week Michael Bennett and Christian Covington took on an increased rule, and that should be the case again on Thursday.

This isn't the first time that Woods has been in the news for negative things. In Late October Woods and rookie, Trysten Hill were sent home from practice by Jason Garrett for being late.

Woods took to Twitter and told everyone to chill because he had only been late three times in the last nine years.

Who knows how that tweet went over in the locker room and with the coaching staff, but this arrest can't be rubbing anyone the right way.

He is scheduled to be a free agent after this season, and with an impending suspension probably coming, that probably will be a big red flag for teams thinking about bringing him in. The Cowboys haven't released any comments on the situation yet.
