While Dak Prescott is waiting to receive a new contract with the Dallas Cowboys, he appears to be in the giving mood. Ahead of their game XFL game on Saturday, Prescott gave a special gift to the entire Dallas Renegades team.

Prescott, who is a sponsor for Beats by Dre, likely didn't have to pay for the headphones. Still, it's the thought that counts and it's obvious that Prescott had the right intention in mind.

Even though he gave out some gifts to the local XFL team, Prescott is patiently waiting for the Cowboys to have the same mindset when it comes to his contract. Since before the 2019 season, Prescott has been seeking a new contract with Dallas, with no results thus far.

However, on Saturday morning, it was reported that the Cowboys offered Prescott a deal that would give him $33 million annually. In addition, the former fourth-round selection would garner $103 million in guarantees with his new contract.

Last offseason, Carson Wentz and Jared Goff were given extensions by their respective teams. Similar to Prescott, Wentz and Goff were both taken in the 2016 NFL Draft, but with the first two picks.

Despite Prescott's annual salary being in the same ballpark as his draft mates, the guaranteed money is a bit lower. As of right now, Prescott and the Cowboys appear to be at a standstill.

With March 12 looming, Dallas may have to use their franchise tag on Prescott for the 2020 season. Until that decision is made, Prescott continues to be a class act in the community.
