Wide receiver Dez Bryant is still searching for a new team a couple of months after he was cut by the Dallas Cowboys. He has sounded out the other three NFC East teams-notably the New York Giants-and most recently the San Francisco 49ers as potential destinations, but he’s still had no takers.

The fact that Bryant has remained on the market for so long has shocked former Cowboys safety Darren Woodson, who believes Dez still has a lot to offer.

“He for sure has something left in him to help someone,” Woodson said to Mike Doocy of KDFW-TV FOX4 Dallas per the Dallas Morning News. And I am totally surprised that no one… especially in the NFC East — who got to see him a couple times a year — hasn't made a run at him just yet. … The money is probably not going to be out there for him right now but I am totally surprised… with how hard of a cover that he is on the outside in one-on-one that he's not picked up. But he's a game-changer. Still stuff left in the tank.”

It’s up for debate whether Woodson’s evaluation of Bryant as a player at this stage of his career is accurate. While Bryant has a reputation as being one of the top receivers in the league, he has not produced like one for quite some time. With that in mind, it shouldn’t be completely surprising that teams aren’t lining up to sign him, especially for the amount of money he’s likely asking for.

At this point, there doesn’t seem to be a clear destination for Bryant. After he turned down the Ravens' offer, there doesn't appear to be another one as good or better coming anytime soon. Until Dez decides to alter his demands and expectations for his next deal, he may just stay unsigned for the foreseeable future.
