The Dallas Cowboys are halfway through their OTAs, working on strengthening their team ahead of the 2022-2023 season. One star to watch is Ezekiel Elliott, who spent the offseason recovering from a PCL tear.

The running back suffered the injury in Week 4, but continued to play through the rest of the season and even in the postseason. Despite playing the majority of the year with a torn PCL, Elliott's injury wasn't what bothered him the most about the season.

According to Zeke, the most frustrating part of the season was how it ended. Cowboys beat reporter Calvin Watkins tweeted Elliott's quote Thursday afternoon.

“I’d say, if anything, it was the most frustrating just because we had a great year and then we didn’t do what we needed to do once we got to the playoffs. So that was the frustrating part,” the Cowboys running back said.

He's right. The Cowboys had an extremely promising regular season, especially going on a six-game winning streak after losing to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 1. However, the season came to an abrupt end with a Wild Card Round loss to the San Francisco 49ers.

Elliott looks stronger and healthier working through OTAs. Rumor has it that he ran 22 mph during a workout in mid-May. Dak Prescott has high, unwavering expectations for the running back, which he seems to be meeting this offseason.
