The Dallas Cowboys lucked out in being able to select CeeDee Lamb with the No. 17 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. While conducting an interview with the team's official website, Lincoln Riley — Lamb's head coach at Oklahoma — praised Lamb's ‘feel for the game'.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, incoming rookies aren't going to have much of a chance to practice with their new teammates. With that being said, Riley doesn't believe that will negatively affect Lamb, as it may with other rookies.
On the other hand, Riley did point out that Lamb's attention to detail in practice — which can help the Cowboys — made him great with the Sooners.
“He's a great practice player. I think that's why he's continued to improve over the years,” Riley said of Lamb. “He enjoys football. He enjoys practice. He's a high-energy guy on the practice field. He's a guy that is going to continue to make himself better and hopefully has that kind of impact on his teammates.”
Upon being taken by the Cowboys, Lamb gives them another weapon for Dak Prescott to get the weapon to. When Lamb has the ball in his hands, there's always a chance he turns it into six points. Despite the fact that he's a rookie, Riley believes Lamb will not only bring the best out in himself in Dallas, but he'll bring the best out of his teammates.
