The Dallas Cowboys could be short at wide receiver in the next few weeks with Terrance Williams facing a suspension for his public intoxication charge. According to the Dallas News:

There's an anticipation that the impending suspension for an incident in May involving the Cowboys receiver will fall in the range of two to four games, sources said. Since no decision has been rendered at this stage — a source said the NFL has yet to notify Williams of a ruling in writing — it's unlikely any action will be taken before the Cowboys face Seattle this weekend.

Williams was arrested on May 19 for a public intoxication charge. While the charges were dismissed, he could still face suspension. Williams' car crashed in Dallas, but he claimed Kendall Wright was the one driving the car, not him. Williams then changed course a few days later, saying he was the one who crashed the car. He was never charged with DWI, instead just the public intoxication.

If Williams had been charged with DWI, he would probably have been suspended for four games. However, the NFL has never needed a conviction to suspend, so he could still face that kind of suspension.

Losing Williams will be a big loss for the Cowboys, who don't have a ton of big names at wide receiver. Expect Williams to play this weekend, but next week is when the announcement could come down about a suspension.
