Receiver Amari Cooper recorded the longest scoring play of the season for the Dallas Cowboys in Thursday's Thanksgiving matchup against the Washington Football Team.

With 14 minutes remaining in the second quarter, Cowboys quarterback Andy Dalton hit Cooper in stride for a 54-yard touchdown pass, giving the Cowboys an early 10-7 lead against the Washington Football Team.

Prior to Cooper's catch, the longest scoring play for the Cowboys was Tony Pollard’s 42-yard scoring run, which happened last week against the Minnesota Vikings.  Cooper, who's playing in his third season with the Cowboys, currently has four receptions for 98 yards in Thursday's Thanksgiving matchup against the Washington Football Team.
