While many high-profile point guards now have a signature shoe in the NBA, expected lottery pick De'Aaron Fox isn't wearing Russell Westbrook‘s Jordans, James Harden‘s adidas, or even Stephen Curry‘s Under Armour sneakers — rather opting for a player who no longer graces the hardwood, but has left his legacy on his shoes — Kobe Bryant.

When asked what his favorite line of sneakers was, Fox did not hesitate to give an answer.

“Kobe’s,” Fox said. “For sure, for sure. I’m a Kobe fan.”

“If I had to pick one pair of Kobes, it'll probably be the Kobe 4s, that's OG — that's when he started low-tops.”

Bryant's sneakers have changed drastically throughout his illustrious 20-year career in the league — going from the robust design of his adidas line to a slimmer, high-top design with the Huarache 2K4 model with Nike, to the back-in-style low-tops which he graced during the last few years of his career.

Regardless of his choice of particular sneaker version, giving some love to the Mamba will always be a plus when it comes to being around the Los Angeles Lakers organization.

The team has been known to be keen on his talent and have set up a workout for him on Tuesday, according to Mark Medina of the Los Angeles Daily News.
