Boston Celtics forward Jae Crowder has made it clear that the Toronto Raptors are a team that they aren't worried about playing.

Well, Raptors small forward DeMarre Carroll has heard his comments, and has delivered his own response to them in a video by Sportsnet.ca.

“It’s a comment from a person who hasn’t really been in the playoffs that much. That’s how I reacted to that type of comment. When you haven’t been on that level and you don’t understand what it takes to get to that level. Myself going to back-to-back Eastern Conference Finals, I understand what it takes. It’s a comment from a guy who hasn’t been on that level, who hasn’t played on that level. It sounds like a young comment.”

The Raptors won the Atlantic Division last year, and set a franchise record for games won, with 56. They made it all the way to the Eastern Conference Finals, where they lost in six games to the eventuall NBA champions, Cleveland Cavaliers. The Boston Celtics played the Atlanta Hawks in the first round of the playoffs, where they lost in six games. The Celtics did add Al Horford, but other than that, haven't made any big moves that many people were expecting from them. But Carroll is focused on the Raptors, not any other team or player at all:

“We’ll let Jae Crowder do all the talking. We’ll just fly under the radar and do what we’re supposed to do.”

All we can do is wait and see if the Raptors win the season series, or the Celtics win the season series. But either way, the added color between these two teams will only fire up that matchup.
