NBA legend Dennis Rodman is known for his eccentric personality as well as his incredible athletic ability. Since retiring from the NBA, he has made brief appearances playing in Britain, built a friendship with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and been romantically linked with multiple celebrities.
The former Chicago Bulls forward had a reputation for obsessively working out during his career and taking care of his body.
It seems as though he didn’t take care of his whole body, as Rodman recently revealed in a video for Viceland how he broke his penis three times during sex. For most people, one time would be enough to take extra caution – but Rodman isn’t like most people.
Rodman recalled the first time he was unfortunate enough to injure his manhood on a boat in Dallas, Texas.

“Me and my girlfriend, we were on the back of the boat in a king-size bed and she said, ‘I think I’m going to try something different’,” Rodman said. “She told me to walk over there and told me to run and jump in her p****.”
Rodman obliged by taking a run up and leaping toward his girlfriend. He remembers seeing “blood everywhere.”
“She’s screaming and screaming, ‘Oh my God, he’s dead’,” remembered Rodman. “I said, ‘No, honey, I just broke my d*ck’.”
The dynamic power forward then shared the details of the second time he damaged his goods. He took a lady named Tracy on a date and quickly discovered that she was a sexual scholar of sorts, pulling out an instructional book. This inspired Rodman to head straight to a hotel room, where the second penile tragedy took place.
“Next thing you know, she turns around and pushed back on me hard,” he said. “Crack, another one. Blood everywhere. I couldn’t do anything.”
Shortly after describing his injured penis as a “big f**ked up carrot,” Rodman narrated the third (and hopefully final) break.
“It was in New York. Same thing. We go to the hotel room and we’re having sex and it ended up breaking,” he said. “We go to hospital and my girlfriend is like, ‘Well you know, he has a problem with his penis.’ The woman comes up and says, ‘Oh, I’ll be right back’. She brought another doctor in, and then another one. I swear to God she just kept bringing people in. They told me I had a contused penis.”
Whilst anyone that has followed Rodman’s career will know just how unpredictable he can be, no one expected this kind of destruction.
