The Miami Dolphins are going to need all the help they can get in their Week 1 bout against the Baltimore Ravens. Good news is, Albert Wilson is expected to be ready before the two teams face each other to kick off the season.

The Dolphins wide receiver hasn't practiced in eight months but expects to play in Week 1. Wilson told reporters recently that “there's no reason why I shouldn't be out there Week 1”.

Last season, Wilson had a hip injury that held him out for a good portion of the season. Although, the Miami wideout made the most of his opportunities in 2018. Wilson caught 26 passes for 391 yards and four touchdowns.

Fortunately, Wilson didn't require surgery on his hip but could begin training camp on the physically unable to perform list. Although, Wilson believes he is ready whenever the team gives him the green light.

Coming into 2019, Wilson figures to have a heftier workload within the offense. As it currently stands, Wilson along with DeVante Parker and Kenny Stills will lead the receiving group.

Regardless of who's under center, whether it be Ryan Fitzpatrick or Josh Rosen, Miami will want to have a fully healthy receiving corp. That starts with Wilson being able to practice again and suit up when the Dolphins take the field in Week 1.

In 2018, the Dolphins struggled to get much of anything going through the air. The team ranked 30th in passing offense with Ryan Tannehill under center.

This season figures to be a little better with improved quarterback play and a healthy group of receivers.
