After being previously deemed as questionable, Miami Dolphins wide receiver DeVante Parker is now poised to suit up against division rival New England Patriots despite nursing a hamstring injury, per ESPN‘s Cameron Wolfe. He was limited all throughout the week in team practices but will be ready to play for the Dolphins come kickoff.

The former Louisville Cardinal headed to the sidelines after sustaining his hamstring injury in their most recent encounter against the Kansas City Chiefs where he failed to tally a significant statistic in the game.

Rookie quarterback Tua Tagovailoa couldn't carve a successful comeback in the final frame with his WR1 nowhere to be found on the field. The Dolphins managed to hold their ground for the most part but still came up short against the reigning Super Bowl champions en route to a 33-27 loss.

Parker has yet to gain a consistent rhythm on the gridiron through Week 14 of the 2020 season with head coach Brian Flores regularly being forced to switch between Tagovailoa and Ryan Fitzpatrick due to certain circumstances.

The Dolphins' Week 15 tilt against the Patriots will serve as a pivotal encounter for both teams. Currently holding an 8-5 record, a victory for Miami will put them three games ahead of their division rivals and will put them in a good position to secure a playoff seat in the AFC bracket.

Meanwhile, a loss will make things more complicated and may still give the Patriots a chance to remain in the hunt for a spot in the postseason. DeVante Parker's looming return will hopefully help the Dolphins gain the upper hand against their division rivals as they set their sights on their ninth win of the season.
