Miami Dolphins temporary starter Matt Moore had a solid chance to follow up his strong performance in Week 11 in the wake of quarterback Jay Cutler's concussion. Unfortunately, he largely underwhelmed Sunday in Miami's 35-17 loss to the powerhouse New England Patriots

After finishing the game 23-of-34 with 215 yards, a touchdown, and two interceptions, Moore's tenure as the starter is already over with Cutler clearing the NFL's concussion protocol. According to Joe Schad of the Palm Beach Post, head coach Adam Gase says Cutler will start this Sunday versus the Denver Broncos:

“He'll be all right,” Gase said, “We'll get a good week of practice. We need to make sure we get the ball out on time.”

Cutler's return under center should come as no surprise considering Gase has been adamant about his status as the starter as long as he is healthy. Additionally, the veteran quarterback was a full participant in Wednesday's practice.

It will be quite a week to return for Cutler as he gets set to square off against a solid Broncos defense amidst the Dolphins five-game losing streak. Although Denver is currently suffering through a seven-game losing streak of their own, they still rank among the league's best in total defense.
