With the NFL trade deadline approaching, the Miami Dolphins are actively looking to move wide receiver DeVante Parker, and the organization reportedly wants at least a third-round draft pick in exchange for the wideout, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.

The Dolphins drafted Parker with the 14th overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft out of the University of Louisville. In 45 career NFL games, DeVante Parker has 141 catches for 1,948 yards and eight touchdowns. He has, however, fallen out of favor with the Dolphins’ coaching staff, leaving him with a reduced role this season.

Parker has never been able to stay healthy for a full season. He's had a history of hamstring ailments and, right now, is dealing with a quadriceps injury. The 25-year-old only has two receptions on the season for a grand total of 40 yards.

DeVante Parker was inactive for Sunday's game against the Detroit Lions. Miami exercised Parker's 2019 option, which pays out to $9.39 million. It's doubtful teams will be interested in acquiring that type of contract considering it's attached to a player who has proven to be injury prone.

DeVante Parker's best season as a pro was in 2016. He caught 56 balls for 744 yards and four touchdowns.
