A reunion appears to be in the works in South Beach. According to a Monday report from Ian Rapoport of NFL.com, the Miami Dolphins have agreed to sign former New England Patriots linebacker and two-time Super Bowl champion Kyle Van Noy to a four-year, $51 million free agent contract.

In doing so, the Dolphins have reunited head coach Brian Flores, who previously served as an assistant coach and linebackers coach with the Patriots, with Van Noy, who previously spent three-plus seasons in New England.

In addition to the Patriots, Van Noy has also spent time with the Detroit Lions along the way while beginning his professional tenure in the “Motor City” as a second-round pick back in 2014.

The Dolphins have already been one of the most — if not the most — aggressive teams from around the league with the latest installment of NFL free agency not even one day old yet. While scooping up players left and right, the Dolphins have already reportedly signed Van Noy in addition to former Dallas Cowboys cornerback Byron Jones and former Cincinnati Bengals defensive back and special teams ace Clayton Fejedelem. Capping off the team's massive day, the Dolphins continued to improve the team's defensive front by also managing to sign former Buffalo Bills pass rusher Shaw Lawson.

Perhaps most notably, the Dolphins were able to secure players from both the Patriots and Bills on Monday upon adding to its roster in a huge way while also depleting a pair of rivals' rosters in the process.
