On Wednesday, a video went viral of Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa underthrowing Tyreek Hill on a deep bomb, with many on social media proceeding to question Tua's arm strength.

However, offensive coordinator Frank Smith has absolutely no doubt his signal-caller is capable of making the necessary adjustments and learning how to put forward his absolute best with this new-look offense.

Via Sports Illustrated:

“I wouldn't say that we're limiting ourselves in anything. He's actually been doing a great job of … every day presents different routes, different things we're trying to accomplish with these Dolphins receivers. So I would say that everything we've done so far has been extremely optimistic because there's certain things in our progressions and reads and his ability to move from throughout his progressions. He's been awesome for a guy just really being in the system for a month.”

Tagovailoa is heading into his third NFL season and certainly has the weapons around him to succeed at the highest level. The Dolphins not only brought in Hill in a blockbuster trade with the Kansas City Chiefs, but they also signed the likes of Chase Edmonds, Cedrick Wilson Jr, and Raheem Mostert.

Tua led the Dolphins to a 7-5 record in 2021, throwing for 2,653 yards and 16 touchdowns. He was picked off 10 times as well. This is the year where Miami will be expecting Tagovailoa to make that jump. Let's hope he can.
