LeSean McCoy is relishing the opportunity to finally win a Super Bowl ring at Super Bowl LIV with the Kansas City Chiefs. However, he'll be the first to tell you that his heart is still with the Philadelphia Eagles and hopes to retire with his hometown team.

Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer and the rest of the press were present during his Super Bowl interview. The press asked about his plans because he'll be out of work by the time the offseason comes. While the option of coming back to the Chiefs is always there, he expressed his wish to return to his boyhood team.

That statement of him preferring to be with the team located less than two hours from his home of Harrisburg, PA is a great display of loyalty from him. His desire to be back to the team that drafted him in the second round of the 2009 Draft is more than just a football decision.

If the Eagles want him back, they'll be getting a quality running back who can fill still make an impact in today's NFL. He may not return to his 2013 form when he rushed 314 times for 1,607 yards and nine touchdowns, but he has what it takes to contribute in today's NFL.

Moreover, his return would satisfy a lot of disgruntled Eagles fans who were frustrated that he was let go in 2015. He may not be the same man he was five years ago, but he will be able to contribute.

Until the offseason happens, McCoy will be zeroing in on helping the Chiefs win their first Super Bowl in a good while.
