When it rains, it pours for the Chicago Bears.

The Bears are having a historically awful offensive game against the Philadelphia Eagles in the City of Brotherly Love. The Eagles extended their lead in the third quarter of the Week 9 matchup with a 14-yard touchdown run from running back Jordan Howard (via NFL).

The 25-year-old Howard, in his first season in the backfield for Philly, is matching up against his former team for the first time. Howard was selected by the Bears in the fifth-round of the 2016 NFL Draft and spent the first three years of his professional tenure in the Windy City.

Philly acquired Howard in the offseason last spring for a conditional 2020 sixth-round pick from Chicago, and so far the 6-foot Indiana product is making them pay for trading him.

Howard has 12 carries for nearly 70 yards in three quarters in Philadelphia, and his 14-yard rushing touchdown was his sixth on the season in 2019.
