The 2015 title ELEX finally gets its sequel. Here is when the ELEX 2 release date is hitting PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.

ELEX II is set to be released on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and the Xbox Series X on March 1, 2022.
ELEX II is the sequel to the 2015 open-world RPG game ELEX, also developed by Piranha Bytes and published by THQ Nordic. Piranha Bytes takes a second jab at the open-world sci-fi post-apocalyptic genre, returning to the ELEX series after seven years to give its avid players what looks to be a more polished game this time around. While the original game didn't take off on the mainstream, it still garnered a lot of support from its fans and has since had a thriving community that is still loyal today.
According to the game's Steam page, Piranha Bytes have these features and mechanics in store for players:
- explore the planet of Magalan with unprecedented freedom, using your trusted jetpack to traverse the map and even fly!
- interact with a lived-in world, full of unique NPCs, who
- will remember what you’ve done and react accordingly
- will join or leave your group depending on how you behave
- are able to be killed, which will have an effect on the story
- engage in fluid close and ranged combat with a massively improved control system
- experience a story where your actions have consequences, immersing you in a world of moral decisions
