The Denver Nuggets have been around since 1967. They were initially called the Denver Rockets from 1967 to 1974 before changing their name to the Nuggets for the 1974-75 season. The franchise has an overall record of 2,159-2,128.

For this piece, we'll be taking a look at every trade deadline move the Nuggets have made since joining the NBA in 1976. Before that, the franchise was an ABA club.

1977-78

The Nuggets traded Jim Price and a 1979 first-round pick to the Detroit Pistons for Ralph Simpson.

1979-80

Denver sent George McGinnis to the Indiana Pacers for Alex English and a 1980 first-round pick.

1982-83

The Nuggets dealt Rich Kelley to the Utah Jazz for Danny Schayes and cash.

1989-90

Denver traded Michael Cutright to the New Jersey Nets for Joe Barry Carroll.

1996-97

The Nuggets sent Mark Jackson and LaSalle Thompson to the Indiana Pacers for Vincent Askew, Eddie Johnson, a 1997 second-round pick and a 1998 second-round pick.

Denver also dealt Ricky Pierce to the Charlotte Hornets for Anthony Goldwire and George Zídek.

The Nuggets finished off their busy trade deadline by trading Darvin Ham to the Indiana Pacers for Jerome Allen.

1999-00

The Nuggets sent Chauncey Billups, Ron Mercer and Johnny Taylor to the Orlando Magic for Tariq Abdul-Wahad, Chris Gatling and a future first-round pick.

Denver also accepted Omar Cook from Orlando on June 26, 2001 in lieu of that future first-round pick.

2001-02

The Nuggets traded Tariq Abdul-Wahad, Avery Johnson, Raef LaFrentz and Nick Van Exel to the Dallas Mavericks for Tim Hardaway, Donnell Harvey, Juwan Howard, cash and a 2002 first-round pick.

2003-04

Denver sent Mark Blount and Mark Bryant to the Boston Celtics for Shammond Williams, cash and a 2003 second-round pick.

2004-05

The Nuggets traded Nikoloz Tskitishvili and Rodney White to the Golden State Warriors for Luis Flores, Eduardo Nájera and a 2007 first-round pick.

2005-06

Denver traded Bryon Russell, Earl Watson and a 2008 second-round pick to the Seattle SuperSonics. The Nuggets also traded Voshon Lenard to the Portland Trail Blazers.

Portland sent Ruben Patterson and Charles Smith to the Nuggets.

2007-08

The Nuggets dealt Von Wafer to the Portland Trail Blazers for Taurean Green.

2010-11

Denver traded Carmelo Anthony, Renaldo Balkman, Chauncey Billups, Anthony Carter, Shelden Williams and a 2016 first-round pick to the New York Knicks.

The Nuggets acquired Wilson Chandler, Raymond Felton, Danilo Gallinari, Timofey Mozgov, cash, a 2012 second-round pick, a 2013 second-round pick, a 2014 first-round pick and a 2016 first-round pick from the Knicks.

2011-12 lockout year

Denver sent Nene to the Washington Wizards for JaVale McGee and Ronny Turiaf.

2013-14

The Nuggets traded Andre Miller to the Washington Wizards for Jan Vesely.

Denver also sent Jordan Hamilton to the Houston Rockets for Aaron Brooks.

2014-15

The Nuggets dealt Arron Afflalo and Alonzo Gee to the Portland Trail Blazers for Will Barton, Victor Claver, Thomas Robinson and a 2016 first-round pick.

Denver also traded Chukwudiebere Maduabum, JaVale McGee and a 2016 first-round pick to the Philadelphia 76ers for Cenk Akyol and cash.

2015-16

The Nuggets sent Randy Foye to the Oklahoma City Thunder for D.J. Augustin and Steve Novak.

2016-17

Denver traded Jusuf Nurkic and a 2017 first-round pick to the Portland Trail Blazers for Mason Plumlee, cash considerations and a 2018 second-round pick.

The Nuggets also sent a 2019 second-round pick to the Milwaukee Bucks for Roy Hibbert.

2017-18

Denver traded Emmanuel Mudiay to the New York Knicks for a 2018 second-round pick.

The Nuggets also acquired Devin Harris from the Dallas Mavericks for a 2018 second-round pick.
