The Atlanta Falcons are widening the margin against the Minnesota Vikings with a touchdown completed by wideout Calvin Ridley. The completed target puts the Falcons up 17-0 over the Vikings in the second quarter.

The touchdown pass was quarterback Matt Ryan's second for the game. He's also completed an amazing 19-of-23 passes for 184 yards to go along with the two touchdowns. If his performance continues, this may end up being a bounce back win for both Ryan and the Falcons.

Ridley also leads the team in receiving yards with 54 from five targets along with his one touchdown. The Falcons have yet to win a game through five weeks of NFL action coming in to Sunday's contest against the Vikings. With the recent firing of former head coach Dan Quinn, the Falcons are set out to prove that their season isn't completely a bust just yet.

The Vikings may prove to be a decent opponent however. Kirk Cousins has started to elevate his performances in prior games, and should be a deadly force as the game progresses.
