The injuries for the New York Giants continue to increase in Week 10. On Sunday, cornerback Janoris Jenkins is being evaluated for a concussion versus the New York Jets per the Giants' official Twitter account.

The veteran cornerback exited the game in the fourth quarter after taking a hit to his head. With Jenkins headed to the locker room, Grant Haley will likely see more snaps with the starting defense.

The loss of Jenkins is huge for New York due to the inexperience at the position behind him. Nevertheless, the Giants will have to find a way to replace Jenkins on Sunday and possibly beyond.

Jenkins has had a decent season with four interceptions, 10 deflections, and 38 tackles for New York. While those numbers are respectable, he's also allowed 25 receptions on 50 targets in the secondary.

New York now has a few key contributors in the concussion protocol. Besides Jenkins, Sterling Shepard and Nate Solder are being checked out for head injuries.

Considering the Giants are essentially out of playoff contention, New York could choose to be cautious with those players. Especially when all of them involve possibly having a concussion. Of course, Shepard has been out for the past month due to a concussion.

Luckily for the Giants, their bye week comes in Week 11. That will allow them to give some of their injured players an extra week to get themselves into a position to be healthy again.

Jenkins is in the second-to-last year of his current contract but could be playing in his final season with the Giants.
