Gillian Robertson is set to take Priscila Cachoeira at UFC 269 on Saturday. The fight is an important one for her ash looks to bounce back from the first losing streak of her career.

She goes up against a tough opponent who is on a two-fight knockout streak. UFC 269 will be a big opportunity.

“It was definitely someone I was familiar with,” Robertson told ClutchPoints ahead of UFC 269. “I watched her last two fights, actually. Gina and Shana Dobson as well. So I feel like in both those fights she looked very impressive. She fought Molly McCann as well, who's a close friend of mine, former opponent, so I was like, I was definitely watching that fight. And obviously, the fight against Valentina where things didn't go her way quite as much.

“I feel like she's an ideal match-up for me, her biggest threat is her hands. So she does have a lot of power. I feel like, I gotta watch that, I got to make sure I don't get caught like she broke Molly's orbital, she's TKO'd, her last two opponents, and like, she definitely has power in her hands. A lot of times, you see, even after she lands her first like big right overhand, the look in the girl's eyes, they usually clinch right after. She definitely has heavy hands. I also don't feel like it's gonna be a hard fight to get to the ground, and get to my world, and get to where I need it to be. So I just got to be safe, not get caught, and I can see it going my way, like very well.”

There is pressure on Gillian Robertson heading into this one as she looks to get back on track. Her opponent is also coming off of some impressive knockouts.

“Oh, yeah [there's pressure.] 100%. I feel like any fight is [since] all these girls are tough. All of them pose a threat and she's coming off of two knockout wins that are definitely showing how dangerous she is. [With] me coming off two losses, it's a lot of pressure on me, but I feel like sometimes that's when I shine the best.”

Gillian Robertson has an easy prediction for the fight at UFC 269. She wants to violently cuddle her opponent until she falls asleep.

“Let me think about this… I think it's pretty obvious. My rear-naked choke is what I go for. So it's his throat cuddles. That's what we're going for. That's what I'm calling it.

“It's just a nice cuddle until you fall asleep.”
