The Green Bay Packers Week 14 matchup- against the Chicago Bears is a rivalry renewed on a few different fronts. First, it is the second time the teams are playing in 2021, as the Packers beat the Bears 24-14 back in Week six. Second, the rivalry has been rekindled by Rodgers’ remarks after his touchdown from that game to Bears fans that he “owns” their franchise. While that may be true, as Rodgers is 22-5 all-time against Chicago, it is still a slap in the face of your biggest rival.

That is probably why, despite the Packers being a much better team than the Bears, there is not a huge differential in the betting line. For those inclined to place a bet, Fanduel Sportsbook has the point spread for this week’s Packers-Bears matchup seeing Green Bay as just four and a half point favorites.

Green Bay Packers Week 14 Predictions

4. The Packers will run for a TD with three different players

With Aaron Jones getting back to full health and A.J. Dillon having some of his best games recently, the Packers running game is certainly hitting its stride at the right time. It is now December and teams are as beat up as they will get, so every tackle they have to make takes a huge toll on the defense.

With a fresh 250-pound A.J. Dillon running at you, especially in Green Bay, you have to cheat up with your linebackers. when you do that, Rodgers, Davante Adams, and Jones will make you pay. In this one, we are predicting not only Jones and Dillon to get a touchdown, but also that Rodgers will run one score in on his own.

3. Green Bay will sack Justin Fields four times

I know what you’re thinking…the Packers won’t get four sacks on Sunday, they only have four sacks total in their last two games. While that may be true, you also have to look at the competition they were going against. First, it was the Minnesota Vikings, who have been sacked only 18 times all year.

That number is tied for the second-best mark in the entire NFL with the Los Angeles Rams, the other team that Green Bay went against. Up this week is a Chicago bears team that has allowed a whopping 40 sacks this year already. It is safe to say the Packers are licking their chops in anticipation of this juicy pass-rushing matchup.

2. Davante Adams will have 150 receiving yards

Adams has not topped 115 yards since the Packers’ thrilling overtime win over the Cincinnati Bengals in Week five, but does have two straight games over 100 yards and is averaging ten targets per game even with Rodgers ailing with a hurt toe. Adams has also sat out practice a bit this month with a hamstring injury. That may be the little bit of information that the Bears need to overthink the situation, however, and if they fail to double-team Adams from the start it will be a huge mistake.

That is the prediction here, as the Bears choose to play zone coverage in the first half. resulting in Rodgers and Adams slicing up the Bears as if they were working in a deli. Even if the Bears do pay the requisite attention to Adams, there is no stopping the man, just containing him, so good luck with that, Chicago.

1. The Packers will cover the spread

This one is a virtual lock to me and will be in my “Week 14 three bets to make” article later on Friday. The Packers are in the driver’s seat in the NFC when it comes to home-field advantage. They have to take care of business against non-playoff teams if they are going to be worthy of that spot and this is a stiff test of that.

The Bears are a bitter rival but are a team that should be taken care of rather easily. Especially coming off of a bye week in Week 13, the Packers have no excuses for not coming away with the win, and covering the spread should come just as easily. The Packers have the best record in the NFL against the spread in 2021 (10-2). Who knows, maybe they will even be the JB Lock of the Week
