Memphis Grizzlies starting point guard Mike Conley is dealing with an apparent finger injury, but Grizzlies head coach J.B. Bickerstaff says the lefty will play on Saturday.

The Grizzlies host LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers Saturday night at FedEx Forum.

After only playing in 12 games last season due to a small bone protrusion in his left heel, Mike Conley is having a bounce-back year for the surging Grizzlies. The 31-year-old is averaging 20.6 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 6.7 assists per game while shooting 41.7 percent from the field, 34.2 percent from beyond the arc, and 81.9 percent from the free-throw line.

The Grizzlies enter Saturday with a record of 15-9, fifth place in the Western Conference. Without the services of Mike Conley in 2017-18, the Grizzlies endured one of their worst seasons in franchise history. The team went 22-60, finishing with the second-worst record in the tough Western Conference. The organization is thrilled to have Mike Conley back in the lineup and playing at a high level.

Memphis is on a two-game winning streak. They are coming off wins against the L.A. Clippers and New Orleans Pelicans. Mike Conley scored 22 points versus the Clippers and nine against the Pelicans. He did rack up 10 assists versus New Orleans.
