When competing for the Miami Heat, Hassan Whiteside has established himself as a tenacious rebounder and elite shotblocker in the league. His presence inside the paint is intimidating for opposing players, as his size and length is difficult not to notice.

However, outside the hardwood, he is very different as he shows his lighter side, especially on social media and has posted some videos in the past.

That was the case once again recently when he went to the Louvre in Paris to see some world-class art and gave him a chance to admire the work of some well-known artists. He once again took to his Snapchat account to document his tour inside the world’s biggest museum and had some hilarious “conversations” with the statues inside. Whiteside even planned to have the Queen of England appear in his video while passing near Buckingham Palace, but failed in his quest for obvious reasons.

Whiteside’s quirky personality is something unexpected from him, given that he stands 7-feet tall and is often seen with his game-face during NBA matches.

With the summer break still in its early days, it will be interesting to see if he’ll come up with more videos in the future and where he will go next.
