Bam Adebayo and the Miami Heat will face Myles Turner and the Indiana Pacers in the first round of the 2020 playoffs. The two big men will be matched up in the post during the seven-game series and it should be a good battle.

However, Adebayo doesn't want people to compare him to Turner. The Heat star believes he's one of one (via WPLG's Clay Ferraro).

Adebayo made his first All-Star team in 2019-20. He finished the season with averages of 15.9 points, 10.2 rebounds and 5.1 assists in 72 starts while shooting 55.7 percent from the field. The versatile forward was cut from the 2019 FIBA World Cup team.

Ever since then, Adebayo has been playing with a vengeance.

While all eyes are going to be on Jimmy Butler and T.J. Warren in the Heat-Pacers series, the matchup between Adebayo and Turner could ultimately decide the winner of the series. Turner is an elite shot-blocker and can stretch the floor with his 3-point shooting, so Adebayo will certainly have his hands full against the former Texas star.

The Heat missed the playoffs in 2018-19. The acquisition of Jimmy Butler has paid dividends for Miami president Pat Riley. The five-time All-Star has fit in perfectly with the franchise and already has a great rapport with Adebayo.

Adebayo has career NBA averages of 10.5 points and 7.7 rebounds with the Heat. He could win the 2020 Most Improved Player of the Year award.
