The Miami Heat host the San Antonio Spurs Wednesday night at American Airlines Arena, but they will be without the services of shooting guard Dwyane Wade.

Wade is away from the team due to a personal matter, according to Ira Winderman of the Sun-Sentinel.

In nine games off the bench this season, Dwyane Wade is averaging 14.3 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.9 assists while shooting 45.0 percent from the field, 41.7 percent from beyond the arc and 59.3 percent from the free-throw line. The future Hall of Famer is playing roughly 25 minutes a game.

As we all know, this is Wade's last season in the NBA. The Chicago native is going to retire from basketball after this year. Wade recently passed Hall of Famer Clyde Drexler for 30th place on the NBA’s all-time scoring list.

Wade is the Heat’s career leader in points, assists, steals and games played. He is the best player in franchise history and will go down as arguably the third-greatest shooting guard in NBA history behind Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant.

D-Wade has won three championships during his legendary career. He has also made the All-Star team 12 times and was the 2006 Finals MVP. Hopefully, whatever personal matter Dwyane Wade is tending to isn't anything serious.
