The Miami Heat lost to the Charlotte Hornets in a close game on Wednesday that ended 90-88. One of the main stories of the night was an attempted last-minute layup by Dwyane Wade to tie the game.

Wade missed the layup but many thought he was fouled. This includes his wife Gabrielle Union who may have been more furious than anyone and took to Twitter after the game and attacked the referees.

Wade, while also frustrated, was not quite as vocal as his wife. However, he was there to defend her comments when asked his opinion of her tweets.

“My wife is very expressive … Always had been and always will be. She has a voice and she uses it,” Wade told The Miami Herald's Ethan J. Skolnick.

As you might expect, Wade is now focused on Game 6 where the Heat must win or get knocked out of the playoffs after losing the last three games to the Charlotte Hornets.

“The frustration was last night. The anger is OK. But the frustration has to be removed from our body, your mind,” Wade added.

The Heat will play the Hornets in Charlotte on Friday night. They must win both Game 6 and Game 7 if they hope to move on to the next round.
