With the NBA All-Star game fast approaching, team Stephen Curry and Team LeBron James are gearing up for a very entertaining showdown.

But James will have a new player on his team because Kevin Love broke his hand a couple of days ago and will be about up to two months. That new players is Goran Dragic of the Miami Heat, per Shams Charania of The Vertical.

Dragic, the point guard for the Miami Heat, is had a solid year. He is averaging 17.0 points, 4.8 assists and 4.1 rebounds in 31.8 minutes per game, per Basketball-Reference.  He has led the Heat to a 29-22 record, which is currently fourth in the Eastern Conference.

Dragic averages the most points on the team, and is considered the leader of that squad. With how well the Heat have been playing this season, it only makes sense that Dragic would be tapped for the All-Star game due to Love's injury.

In the East, sometimes choices for All-Stars are difficult to come by, usually because the teams in the East aren't as good as those in the West. But this season, the East has held its own and has had a lot of really good players come out of the woodwork and shine. It's possible that Kemba Walker could have been a choice to replace Love, as he has also had a solid season.

But the Charlotte Hornets are only 11th in the Eastern Conference, so that may have swayed the decision in Dragic's favor.

Nonetheless, Dragic is a good choice to represent the Heat at All-Star weekend.
