No one could ever accuse Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler of taking plays lightly. After stealing the opening jump ball from the considerably taller Nikola Vucevic, the 6-foot-7 Butler let loose a primal scream like it was the last play of the game rather than the first.

Turns out Jimmy Buckets enjoys jumping as much as he does scoring the rock.

While the Heat rarely employ the forward during the opening jump ball, Jimmy Butler stepped into the role on Sunday due to the continued absence of Bam Adebayo. With the center still unable to take the court as he battles knee tendinitis in his left leg, the Miami coaching staff decided to use Butler against the taller Vucevic for his considerable leaping ability. Though Kelly Olynyk has traditionally been the backup option in such scenarios, Erik Spoelstra's audible looks to have paid off.

Not only did the Heat secure the ball, but it gave the always excitable Butler just one more reason to get hyped.

Besides filling in for Adebayo during the opening tip, Butler has made it a habit of late to fill whatever role the Heat may require of him. With the team finally beginning to jumpstart their season, Butler has averaged over 24 points per game over his last 10 contests, along with nine assists and six rebounds. Not only has the team responded to Butler's lead by going 9-1 during the same span, but they have risen to a top-four seed in the Eastern Conference, positioning themselves for home-court advantage in the first round of the playoffs.

No matter what the Heat ask Jimmy Butler to do, he always finds a way to respond.
