Miami Heat small forward Jimmy Butler understands that the most mentally tough team will win the 2020 championship in Orlando.

Fortunately for Heat fans, Butler said he and his teammates are capable of handling the adversity of the “bubble” games.

“It's going to be tough,” Jimmy Butler said of the mental edge needed to win a championship under these circumstances, via Nick Fridell of ESPN. “I'm not going to lie to you, but I think the best thing about it is everybody has to have that same mental edge. Everybody's at the same mental disadvantage, and I think we handle this well. People say that we have a group full of underdogs. Say what you will but we got a group full of really good pros that love to hoop, love to compete, and we're going to go out there and give it our all.

“Home, away or neutral here at Disney, I think you can count on the Miami Heat bringing it.”

With Butler and Bam Adebayo leading the way on the court and head coach Erik Spoelstra guiding the players from the sideline, the Heat appear well-equipped to go on a title run once the 2020 playoffs start.

Miami racked up 41 wins before the season was suspended in March. The Heat will use the eight seeding games to build momentum for the postseason.

Butler is averaging 20.2 points, 6.6 rebounds and 6.1 assists for the Heat. The franchise is looking forward to the five-time All-Star leading the team in the playoffs since he's a fierce competitor and one of the best players in the NBA.
