It's do or die for the Miami Heat on Friday night against the Boston Celtics in Game 6 of the East Finals. With an already beat-up Jimmy Butler and Kyle Lowry, Erik Spoelstra's squad will also be without guard Tyler Herro for the third straight game due to a groin injury.

Via Chris Haynes:

This is a devastating blow for a Heat team who have seriously lacked a scoring punch in the last two contests. While Herro isn't exactly thriving in these playoffs, he is still a capable player and can offer an offensive punch off the bench.

Miami currently trails 3-2 in the series after back-to-back embarrassing losses to Boston. The Heat only put up 80 points in Game 5 and just 82 in Game 4. It's clear Butler is battling through knee pain while Lowry posted a goose egg on Wednesday. Bam Adebayo has been about their most consistent player as of late and with the C's essentially at full strength, this is a tall task ahead.

The Heat was really hoping Herro could potentially suit up here but it's not going to happen. In the postseason, the 22-year-old is averaging just 13.5 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 2.9 assists on a poor 23% clip from downtown. Hopefully, Miami can force a Game 7 back in South Beach and Tyler Herro could potentially play.
