Miami Heat president Pat Riley has nothing but good words to say for Dwyane Wade, who showed his humbleness by returning with the team in a bench role and mentoring the young players.

Wade is playing in his last season in the league, but Riley said that his desire to win is still there. The 74-year-old Heat exec even pointed out that Wade is even playing like their best player.

“He's willing to come off the bench and do these thing,” Riley said of Wade, per Rohan Nadkarni of Sports Illustrated. “There's a lot of guys in this league who have such big egos, there's no way they could even think of giving that away. He's been an absolute godsend. He’s been playing like our best player.”

The 37-year-old guard has been making his farewell tour this season, and he is getting a lot of love wherever he plays. Fans and players have paid their respect to the former Marquette standout with young stars saying that Dwyane Wade was one of the players they looked up to before entering the league.

Wade is proving that he still actually has a lot of gas left in his tank. The 13-time NBA All-Star is averaging 14.4 points on top of 3.9 rebounds and 4.1 assists. The three-time NBA champion recently said that he feels he can still play at a high level for one or two seasons but will not change his mind on retiring after this season.
