Miami Heat forward Kelly Olynyk is known for being able to do plenty of things on the basketball court.

He is a decent shooter from 3-point range, and he is a hustle player that dives for loose balls and boxes out for defensive and offensive rebounds. He provides a lot of those intangibles and winning plays that coaches love out of their role players.

But one thing Olynyk is not generally known for is his passing. Sure, he can pass the ball as most other players can pass. But there aren't any NBA people waxing poetic about Olynyk's vision or anticipation as a passer.

That could change after they see this pass from Olynyk. While in semi-transition, the Heat big man brings the ball up the floor and stops at the top of the 3-point line straight away from the basket. He's being defended by Kyle O'Quinn, who is standing with his legs spread wide open and not paying that much attention to where Olynyk is looking to pass.

The rest…well it's obvious. Check out the video clip below.

That was one shiny dime. Credit also has to go to Josh Richardson for getting himself open on a sharp cut to the open area of the floor.

Nutmeg passes are some of the most fun plays to see in a basketball game. It happens quite often in hockey, but in basketball, it's much harder to do, it would seem.

The onus is absolutely on O'Quinn for not being aware enough on defense to prevent Olynyk getting the ball between his legs. Now he's part of a meme instead of being someone who prevented a basket.
