Miami Heat president Pat Riley says from day one, he knew guard Dwyane Wade was going to be a special player.

The Heat drafted Wade with the fifth overall pick in the legendary 2003 NBA Draft which included LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony and Chris Bosh.

We all know the rest of the story. Wade has established himself as the best player in franchise history and one of the top players in the NBA. The Chicago native is going to be a future Hall of Famer one day.

Wade has two regular season games left in his NBA career. His final regular season home game is on Tuesday against the Philadelphia 76ers. It's going to be a very emotional night for Wade, Riley and the Heat fans.

Everyone is praying Miami can make the playoffs, so Wednesday isn't Wade's final NBA game ever. The Heat are in the 10th spot in the Eastern Conference standings and one game back of the Detroit Pistons for the eighth and final playoff spot.

Dwyane Wade and Pat Riley have won three rings together. Riley was the head coach in 2006 when Miami defeated the Dallas Mavericks.

Riley was president when Wade and Miami won back-to-back championships during The Big Three era with James and Bosh.
