LaMelo Ball has proven to be a versatile player on the court in his first season with the Charlotte Hornets. After seeing the NBA 2K ratings that have recently been released, it sounds like Melo has plans to expand his game off the court as well as a 2K advisor of sorts.

Ball's Hornets teammate Miles Bridges was recently given his rating straight from Ronnie 2K's mouth. He was definitely surprised to find out that his rating went DOWN from 79 to 78 despite the fact that he improved by leaps and bounds last season.

One Hornets reporter was definitely in his feelings over the slight against Miles Bridges. He laid down several facets of the game where the forward improved. It's hard to argue against him either, seeing as through Miles Bridges posted virtually the same counting stats but his efficiency went through the roof on a team that was a play-in game away from making the NBA playoffs.

The absurd rating drop eventually got the attention of LaMelo Ball. The Hornets' Rookie of the Year outright gunned for  Ronnie 2K's job and wanted to try his hand at doing the ratings himself.

In all honestly, when you're putting a solitary numerical value to measure a player's abilities, you're never going to please everybody. But who knows, LaMelo Ball has shown some magic in his first season with the Hornets. Maybe he has the vision to get everyone's ratings right after all.
