LaMelo Ball has made quite an impression in his short time so far with the Charlotte Hornets. The third overall pick in this year's NBA Draft is looking to make a huge splash and it seems that his backcourt mate Devonte' Graham already has some positive notes on the talented rookie (via Lonzo Wire.).

“One thing about Melo that I noticed, he asks a lot of questions man. A lot of questions, which is a good thing for a young guy, especially trying to learn. You’re not just getting all this information and then just trying to process it all on your own. You’re actually asking for help. Real coachable.”

There have been a lot of questions about Ball and how he'll be able to match-up with the NBA's guards, but seeing him approach training camp as open as Graham describes it should definitely bode well for the Hornets.

“I am trying to talk to him and make sure he knows the little things and if this happens on pick and roll, what he should do and what he should be looking for and stuff like that.”

Due to the COVID-19 protocols that have been set by the team, players were picked to watch game film together in small groups, which gave Graham a unique opportunity to be in Ball's ears all throughout. They've also been grouped together with veteran center Cody Zeller and another new face in the Hornets locker room in Gordon Hayward.

LaMelo Ball hopes to absorb every knowledge like a sponge and prove all his naysayers wrong with an impressive debut year.
