The Charlotte Hornets have not had much to hang their hat on in their matchup with the Boston Celtics. Fortunately, small forward Cody Martin was able to provide the home crowd with something to cheer about.

Martin was able to throw down a half-court lob from point guard Malik Monk to somewhat end the third quarter on a high note, via DimeUPROXX:

The evening has largely been highlighted by the return of point guard Kemba Walker following his departure this offseason. Despite a slow start from Walker, Boston has largely managed to have its way in Charlotte.

Regardless, it is still encouraging to see two of the younger players on the roster putting the onus on themselves to make plays. Martin was taken in the second round of the 2019 NBA Draft and the rookie has managed to etch out a role for himself in the rotation thanks in part to his ability to run the floor.
