Hours after the Jacksonville Jaguars upended the Pittsburgh Steelers to earn a trip to the AFC Championship Game, All-Pro cornerback Jalen Ramsey boldly declared that his team would win the Super Bowl.

Ramsey's comments have quickly come back around to head coach Doug Marrone, who stated on Monday that he understood his star defensive back's feelings in the moment. However, he voiced that the Jaguars' sole focus at this point is directly on the New England Patriots, according to Charean Williams of Pro Football Talk.

“You come back, and you’ve got all the fans here and things of that nature,” Marrone said. “Obviously that is something that everybody wants to do when you get this close. Whether they have to say it or not, the one thing they do know is the road to it always leads through New England, so our focus isn’t on anything else but the New England Patriots. That’s exactly what our whole team will be focused on. It will be a great challenge for us obviously, and we’re going to have to have a great week.”

Beyond just his performance on the field, Brady has an abundance of experience at this stage of the playoffs. He is set to take part in his 12th AFC Championship Game and has already gone to the Super Bowl seven times (with five wins) in his illustrious career.
At that same token, the Jaguars have proven to be a formidable challenger on both sides of the ball. They possess arguably the league's best defense that finished first against the pass this season. Jacksonville also has an effective running game headed by rookie running back Leonard Fournette, who rushed for 109 yards and three touchdowns against the Steelers. This should all make for an entertaining matchup against two high-powered teams in the AFC Championship game.
