Déja Lighty, girlfriend of Rookie of the Year runner-up Donovan Mitchell, has taken to Twitter to respond to the now infamous Jordan Bell “call me” incident that transpired in the Golden State Warriors' summer league game Friday night.

Lighty appears to hold no ill will towards Bell, and has flippantly brushed off the incident through her tweet below.

For those who have not seen the video, Bell made an amazing block in the fourth quarter of his team's tightly-contested summer league game against the Los Angeles Clippers. After the show of athleticism, the 23-year-old big man appeared to have made a “call me” motion towards Lighty, who was in the crowd sitting right beside her beau, Donovan Mitchell.

The Utah Jazz star was smiling, but was also clearly baffled at what had just occurred. His reaction was priceless, as he held an is-this-guy-for-real kind of facial expression for a good five to ten seconds.

According to Lighty, however, Bell may have said something other than an overly-confident request for a phone call. She did not say what it was, but claimed that it was much funnier that what we think. Now, whether that is a good or bad thing, remains to be a mystery.

The first encounter between the Warriors and the Jazz in the upcoming season is already an exciting prospect as it is for basketball reasons. This recent incident between Bell and Mitchell now adds a bit more spice to it.
