Per Tony Jones of the Athletic, the Utah Jazz have “no traction” on a potential deal for Toronto Raptors star Kyle Lowry.

However, they are still focused on acquiring Mike Conley from the Memphis Grizzlies.

Ever since the Grizzlies announced that they would be putting Conley and Marc Gasol on the trading block, the Jazz has been involved in rumors for Conley.

Their starting lineup would look something like Conley, Joe Ingles, Donovan Mitchell, Jae Crowder, and Rudy Gobert. This lineup has great defensive versatility already. Adding a ball-handler like Conley would allow them to reach their full potential offensively.

Conley after this season is under contract through 2021. He's in the middle of a five-year, $152.6 million maximum contract he signed with Memphis back in 2016.

Conley this season has averaged averaging 19.8 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 6.1 assists per game on the year while shooting 42.2 percent from the field and 35.4 percent from beyond the arc
