The New York Jets have found their next head coach as they hired former Miami Dolphins head coach Adam Gase on Wednesday. Colin Cowherd voiced his approval of the hire stating it's “a really good hire.”

As Cowherd stated, Gase does in fact find ways to win and he'll have to overcome a lot of adversity to do so as the Jets have struggled mightily in recent years. Gase has a great offensive mind and was the offensive coordinator for the Denver Broncos team that has the NFL record for most points scored in a season with 606 points.

Gase was the head coach of the Dolphins for three seasons and took Miami to the playoffs in his first season back in 2016, but it's been tough sledding ever since.

The AFC East has been a disaster aside from the New England Patriots. Although Miami was second in the standings this season, they ended the 2018 season with a 7-9 record.

Gase isn't going very far as he will stay within the division to be the head coach of the Jets and hopefully turn the team around. The Jets were 4-12 this season and have been in last place in the division the last three seasons behind former head coach Todd Bowles. Gase will have his hands full with a young quarterback and one of the weakest receiving units in the league.

If anyone can turn the offense around, Gase is a strong candidate for the job.
