Apparently, New York Jets rookie Denzel Mims isn't a fan of the city of Philadelphia. The wide receiver was on a stream with Philly Birds Only and didn't hold back when asked about the City of Brotherly Love.

“I didn’t like that dirty a–, trash a– city” Mims exclaimed.

Savage.

Growing up in a small town in Texas, big cities like Philadelphia can get a bit overwhelming. However, it seems that Mims really doesn't like Philly. The Jets rookie joined NFL Insider Adam Caplan in April of this year in a video interview to talk about his not-so-great encounter in the city.

“I was very scared. I wasn’t familiar with the whole city, there was a lot going on. You see a lot of people that look scary,” Denzel Mims said in the interview. “I had a bad experience going up there the first time.”

The 22-year old had quite the impressive stint in Baylor before getting picked by the Jets in the second round of the 2020 draft. He tallied in a 4.38 40-yard dash in the NFL Draft combine earlier this year, which says a lot about the potential the young man has. Now, he is expected to fill the void in the wide receiver position for New York with his raw talent and his size.

Pretty sure Philadelphia Eagles fans can't wait to get their first glimpse of the Jets' rookie. There might not be a lot of brotherly love for him once he steps in Lincoln Financial Field.
