It goes without saying that the bustling streets of New York can often become a driver's worst nightmare. That was certainly the case for New York Jets safety Jamal Adams.

Adams was dealing with traffic in his own way when he cut-off another fellow driver. He revealed on Twitter that the person in the other car was none other than New York Giants legend Michael Strahan:

Needless to say, Adams was quick to apologize:

So this morning I’m driving on the GW bridge, and there’s crazy traffic. I cut off this Challenger to get over real quick. This guy I cut off then speeds around me and stares me down. & I look over, it's Michael Strahan. My bad fam.

Strahan later accepted his apology and even complimented Adams on his choice of car.

It goes without saying that Strahan is one person even Adams does not want to get mixed up with. The former Giant made a career out of his dislike for opposing quarterbacks. It is clear he may feel the same way about aggressive drivers.

Fortunately, Strahan was a good sport about. It may or may not have been due to the fact that both are defensive players. Regardless, it just goes to show that one never knows who may be in the other car.

Meanwhile, Adams can focus on the fact that there will be no hard feelings between him and Strahan. The second-year man has done a solid job of establishing himself in the Big Apple after a tremendous rookie campaign. However, it appears he is well-aware that New York is still Strahan's stomping grounds.
