Back in May, New York Jets running back Le'Veon Bell lost over $500,000 worth of jewelry when a pair of women in his home stole from him.

Well, now, more details are coming out on what actually happened, and they are, um, interesting:

“Well, I had two girls in my house,” Bell said in his 911 call at the time, which was acquired by TMZ. “And I got up, and I did my normal routine to go to work out. So I left the workout for a couple hours. When I came back, they took my money, they took my watch, my jewelry, a couple more of my things of value out of my house,” he told the operator. “I don’t know where they’re at. I tried to call them before I called you guys. I tried to call them and they’re not answering me, and they’re ignoring me.”

Bell then said he had jewelry, clothes, and shoes stolen, and when asked what the first woman was wearing, he replied with this:

“When I left, she was in the bed not wearing clothes … so I didn’t see her, when she [left the house].”

As for the second woman? More of the same, apparently:

“The same way. She was in the bed, too. They didn’t have clothes on.”

I think the best part about this whole situation is that Bell just left two women in his bed and proceeded to go work out and do his “normal routine.”

Because, you know, that is a completely normal routine.

Regardless, Bell signed a four-year, $52 million contract with the Jets this summer, so even if he is not able to recover the items which were stolen from him, he'll probably be just fine.

The 27-year-old has made three Pro Bowls in his career.
