The Josh Rosen workout tour continues. The highly rated quarterback prospect, who has already worked out for the Giants, Browns, and Bills in recent days, is now slated to work out for the New York Jets on Thursday, per Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News.

Mehta notes that Jets GM Mike Maccagnan already got to see some of Rosen during his pro day. But now, head coach Todd Bowles will get his chance to size up Rosen, who is arguably the best pure passer in his draft class.

The Jets are also set to attend Josh Allen’s pro day on Friday before conducting a private workout with Baker Mayfield on Saturday.

Despite the plentiful quarterbacks currently on the Jets’ roster – Teddy Bridgewater, Josh McCown, Christian Hackenberg, Bryce Petty, Joel Stave – they are widely expected to select another QB early in the draft. That’s most likely why they paid such a heavy price to trade with the Indianapolis Colts for the No. 3 pick.

Rosen will obviously be one of the top contenders the Jets will consider taking with said pick. The UCLA product appears to be the most complete among the four consensus top quarterback prospects in terms of physical tools, accuracy, and mechanics. His main knocks lie primarily on the intangible side (ie leadership, attitude, etc.).

Rosen should have few problems with his workout. But the Jets still need to deliberate whether the young QB will react well to being the face of the franchise in a pressure-packed market like New York.
