When it comes to New York Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson, simply saying that he has exceeded expectations so far in his career is a massive understatement. In his second year with the Jets after being undrafted out of Temple University, Anderson has caught 49 passes for 821 yards and seven touchdowns so far in the 2017 season.
It's safe to say Anderson has established himself as one of the NFL's biggest deep threats, and the numbers don't lie when compared to other receivers this year. According to a tweet today from Pro Football Focus, each of Anderson's touchdowns this season came on balls thrown over 20 yards down the field.

In the Jets' thrilling 38-31 win over the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, Anderson caught eight passes for 107 yards and has now gone over 100 receiving yards three times in his last five games.
Before the season, many people considered the Jets' wide receiving corps to be one of the worst in the league. Anderson now has a message for the people who doubted him and his teammates.
“We are proving a lot of critics wrong,” Andrson said, per Connor Hughes of NJ.com. “Now they'll say they are for us, they believe in us. But we all know that's not the case.”
Quarterback Josh McCown and the Jets (5-7) will look to air the ball out more to Anderson when they visit the reeling Denver Broncos (3-9) on Sunday afternoon at Sports Authority Field at Mile High. Although the Broncos have lost seven straight games, they still have one of the best secondaries in the NFL.
